🧭 intent.md: my process before any AI

✍️ Note about this file

The course says: write this file without AI. Claude drafted it from what I typed in our chat on October 5, 2026. Before I hand it in for AI 101, I must rewrite it in my own words.

1️⃣ My problem

Every day, I get a flood of posts on X about crypto add-ons. These add-ons are called "layer 2s." My question: How can I turn the real news into a short daily video with sources? The robot must not make up news. It must not pick price hype for me.

2️⃣ What I get every day

  • 📬 Thousands of posts about Bitcoin Lightning and Ark, Dogecoin, Monero's FCMP++ upgrade, and Litecoin's Lightning and MWEB.
  • 🗑️ Many of them are ads, price guesses and copies.

3️⃣ My steps now (no AI)

  1. 🔎 I scroll X. I search each coin by hand.
  2. 🚫 I skip the hype, the ads and the giveaways.
  3. 📝 I write down the good posts: who posted, what they said, and the link.
  4. 🎙️ I make slides. I record my voice.
  5. 📤 I post the video and the links.

4️⃣ Where it breaks

🧩 The weak spot

Steps 1 and 2 take hours. It is easy to miss a day. It is easy to use a post from the wrong day.

5️⃣ What a good result looks like

  • 🎬 A 70-second video with 8 to 10 cards.
  • 🧾 Every card has a real account name, a date and a link to the real post.
  • 😴 A coin with no news says "Quiet today."

6️⃣ What AI must not decide

  • 🚫 It must not invent a launch, a partnership or a price.
  • 🚫 It must not choose which days are "important" without a real source.
  • 🚫 It must not publish the first video until I say yes.

7️⃣ What the robot reads

Public posts on X from the last 24 hours. 🔒 No private information.

Put it on your phone

The widget is a small card on your Home Screen. It shows the Bitcoin price, the fee, and today's top news.

  1. Install the free Scriptable app. Open it one time.
  2. Tap Download script. The file goes to the Files app.
  3. In Files, move scriptable.js into iCloud Drive › Scriptable.
  4. Hold your Home Screen. Tap +. Choose Scriptable. Tap Add.
  5. Hold the new widget. Tap Edit Widget. Choose the script.

How to use it

  1. Press ▶ play. The video is 70 seconds.
  2. Read the cards under the video.
  3. Tap a card. The real post opens on X.

What it does

Every day at 6 PM, a robot reads X. X is a social media app.

The robot finds real posts about 4 coins: Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Monero and Litecoin.

Then it makes a 70-second video and a set of cards. Every card shows who posted and when.

If no sampled posts pass the filters, the card says "Quiet today." Other news may exist.

The core

This is the automation. It runs by itself every day.

1⏰ At 6 PM, a timer on the Mac starts the robot.
2🔎 The robot collects posts from the last 24 hours.
3🧹 It removes ads, price guesses and copies.
4🎬 It makes the video and adds a voice.
5🌐 It puts the video online. Then it checks that the page loads.
